[DETECTED] Noob guide to how remove: Unnecessary sounds (PUBG 2.4.13.7) (PICS)

Hello guys again.

Like i said before i will show you how to remove unnecessary sounds like: mosquito sounds, bomb sounds, weather sounds and etc..
this method is more simple because you just have to delete them and not creating something to replace the files.

i also like to play with this pak only because give you huge advantage

So pay close attention to all the steps and do not forget to click the THANKS button

Mandatory requirements

• Python 2.7 for windows (Found here: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1275817)
• UE4PakUnpacker (Found here: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1275817)
• 4pak.py (Found here: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1275817)

1 -) Download all files needed (see above) and install Python 2.7 if you dont have it.
2 -) Create one folder in C: named "edit"
3 -) Copy UE4PakUnpacker.exe to the folder that you just created ("edit")
4 -) Copy the content of the u4pak.rar inside folder "edit" this is the result:

5 -) Now go to your games folder and copy the original .pak file to C: (MUST BE)



PAK LOCATION AND PAK FILE
\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Content\Paks

6 -) Execute UE4PakUnpacker.exe (inside the folder C:\edit) and select the pak file that you copied before on C:

7 -) if you did everything right and followed all steps an folder named TSLGAME will be created on your C:

8 -) Let's remove the sounds.
After you unpack

in C:\TslGame\Content\WwiseAssets\Ambience2D
Just leave Ambience2DBank.uasset and Ambience2DBank.uexp inside. delete all other files:

in C:\TslGame\Content\WwiseAssets\Ambience3D
remove the folder Environment

in C:\TslGame\Content\WwiseAssets
delete the folder RedZone

9 -) Lets pack. COPY the folder TslGame (Location C:\ to C:\edit)

10 -) Open CMD and go inside the edit folder (cd C:\edit)

11 -) Enter this commands (u4pak.py pack TslGame-WindowsNoEditor_sound.pak TslGame)

12 -) The eddited PAK file will be creater on C:\edit

13 -) Copy the pak file back to the original game folder
\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Content\Paks

Question:

Q: Why i should mod this pack?
A: You will remove all shity sounds and the shoots and footsteps will be more clear to hear

Q: I followed everything and i crash at random times why?
A: Modding this pack don't make your game crash. verify the files with steam and re-do

Q: is this bannable?
A: no. it CANT BE.

Yes you just need to find the files and replace them with the real gun sound.

Kinda hard to understand cuz i think some pics are in the wrong order ?
A video would be much easier and i could not delete the files, still have the annyoing sounds ingame

Am I the only one who can still hear red zone explosions after these changes? I figured removing Redzone folder would remove these sounds?
