6 month marketplace barring?

I just got unbanned and thought I would get a few weeks marketplace barring but it seems like its 6 MONTHS? Is this right? I've checked all the threads explaining marketplace bans etc. And nowhere it evens hows anything close to this long of a ban.

Usually if you are banned for scamming and wait 3+ months before refunding the customer, they take it as you planned to scam which would justify the long marketplace ban.

It was 2 years ago when I was an underaged prick lmao, I know that might not mean much on here but 6months is a LONG time from now.

As said on the VM I did in reply, all this is done out of the staff's goodness.

You aren't entitled to anything. You scammed, so you take whatever is necessary to get your ban lifted.
Doesn't matter how old you were or how young you were.

So, you have two choices. You can keep the 6 month ban, or be permanently banned. Your choice.
