Can you lose Trusted Member tag?

Yes, it's common sense. If you attempt to scam someone or do something that can be deemed as untrustworthy by upper staff, then you'll lose it. Wouldn't give a trusted tag to someone that is no longer trusted which would put users at risk.

It's at the discretion of upper staff regardless. If they have a reason then they'll remove the tag.
