What the user above me said, if you just play League of Legends along with a Youtube tab open more often than not, there's no point in upgrading your current RAM to a higher amount. Thought you were into 3D rendering or something when you said you were considering upgrading your RAM amount, but since you aren't, then .

The Laptop says : 8GB DDR4 Dual Channel Memory
If I buy any Ram Stick that is 8GB would it be ran in dual channel? (or does the brand need to be the same for dual channel or do i need to run it at the same speed to achieve dual channel). PS: well most of the time i just play league and have a chrome tab on for youtube.

Thinking of getting either of those but idk what's the difference.

as already mentioned for that usecase more ram wont make a huge difference if one at all

and the difference between the two ram sticks is that one is a full sized one for desktop pcs and the second is a smaller form factor one for laptops

and they dont have to be the same brand to run in dual channel and theyll always run in that if you have 2 sticks

speedwise theyll be running the same speed (but at the speed the "slower" one is)

Upgrading your laptop is frankly an unneeded expenditure. Adding more ram isn't going to gain you any noticeable difference.
