servers saying PB OFF are 90% with PB running... and every day more servers have PB running even they say it is off

who hacks now and gets banned... well own fault...

and you will not get banned only on that server, several people are reporting of being banned on all PB servers

For the record there are lot of fake non-pb servers out there,
now to be sure delete ur pb folder in bfbc install dir, start
game (WITHOUT HACKS) try to join PUNKBUSTER(PB) server
if u get something like U have to install pb in order to play on this server
bla bla bla.. means ur good to go. exit game load ur hacks, start game start raping lol

I just joined my server to see what the PB logs show on this.. there's nothing about the injecter or any detected hack.. though this was in there:

that's not related to the texture mod is it?

also, as far as the PB ban goes, is it automatic or does the admin have to discover the listing in the PB logs and report you to PB/EA?

yeah = PB enabled.

it didn't ban me straight away when I jumped in and tested it - and now I'm hoping this isn't a something that'll come up and bite me in the ass next week.

I've only got myself to blame if it does - I've been playing on regular server since Koen upped the ESP hack.

but yeah - I'll need to track down why PB logs me and references a DX9 MD5 chucksum and no one else in the server. Hopefully it's just a 'this guy is using XP thing' or something like that.

btw - running the game using Koen's graphics mod is sweeeeeet, especially in the jungle maps
