^ This guy apparently downloads bots on an alt, finds the obvious telltale signs that someone is a botter, and reports them.
According to him, he's already gotten quite a few of us banned.

Interestingly, he wrote a guide on how to spot us (which is probably outdated as it was meant to spot Le Bot users).


After speaking with him (he had just outed/reported someone who killed turrets in hyperium), I found that he does it out of a "sense of justice".
Personally, I think that's a load of garbage and he's probably a botter who wants to hurt others.

He has Drakath's armor (inferenced from ALoD), Sepulchure's DoomKnight Armor, and quite a few (if not all) of the rep classes Rank 10.
He has both VHL and parts of AFDL. If that ain't a telltale sign of botting, its a telltale sign of insanity.

I think that this kind of person is a hypocrite and scum. If you're going to use bots, do it and forget about trying to put others down.
If you're going to put time and effort into it, go ahead. But leave us who bot alone.

What does it matter in the end? The only argument you have is that he's downloading "illegal things" (according to ToS)
just to counter others who use it. Where will it lead up to the point of speaking out to some sort of staff member?

Pretty much! I spoke to an AE staff member a lot about it over the time for weeks and weeks. He basically allowed Maxijack to change his username and escape all the hate, which is fair enough I suppose.
