[TuT]HOW TO STOP YOUR REZ FILES FROM PATCHING!

Not sure if this is a TuT or not, but as some of you know, Nexon has been trying to patch your REZ files everytime you go in game, so to stop your REZ files from patching, DO NOT run Combat Arms from the website.

I REPEAT DO NOT RUN FROM THE WEBSITE! INSTEAD USE COMBATARMS_DIRECT.EXE FROM C:\Nexon\Combat Arms

Easy as that, not sure if this is the right section, if its not then moved this, but I made it here so people can see it since no ever goes in Discussion.

Very helpful, should deserve a sticky, or merged with some other thread.
Btw, as much as this is helpful, its also a way nexon can use it to patch it.
They might end up removing CombatArms_Direct, if this poses as a big threat. o-o

It patched my rez files when i ran it first.. I got pissed off, it used up 500MB of my quota as I was testing like dozens of mods.. So i reinjected just after the patch and no more patching >.< I also ran Combat Arms Direct

No, as long as you run the game from CombatArms_Direct.

I run Combat Arms at the website every time and it only patched once and that was for the bugs i think and i tried again and it didnt patch
