Hi mates, here is a guide for the TMP machinepistol.
Hope this is useful for some of you.
Statistics:
Damage: 30-20
Magazine Size: 15 (30 with extended mags)
Fire Rate: 900 rounds per minute
The TMP is a accurate weapon that can kill opponements at all ranges. It is a fully automatic weapon and its like a sub machine gun. The TMP has the lowest magazine size of all machine pistol so it will often need a reload.
The ironsights are good and you can kill with it at range
Now about the attachments:
Red Dot Sight and Holographic Sight:
The iron sights of the TMP are good so the red dot or holographic sight can be used to clear up your vision, though it is not necessary since the iron sights are good enough for targeting.
Silencer:
The TMP works well with the silencer. It is useful because of the low magazine capacity so you won't appear as a red dot on the enemy's radar so you have time to reload. However, the silencer reduces the range largely so the TMP won't be very effective at range anymore.
FMJ:
Like the other machine pistols: the TMP's walling is horrible. This attachment will not help things very much.
Akimbo:
The TMP has a horrible hip fire spread at all ranges with akimbo. Steady aim does not help it. Akimbo is not very useful on this weapon and shouldn't be used.
Extended Mags:
The TMP has a very low magazine size, so the extended magazine attachment is the most useful attachment for this weapon.
Extended mags should be taken over any other attachment
Conclusion: The TMP is a nice secondary weapon to have. It works well with a sniper class. The TMP with silencer gives you the ability to move to a other location taking out single enemies in your way.
The TMP with extended mags is useful in a FAL class as the effectiveness of the FAL on close ranges isn't great compared to other weapons so the TMP gives you a advantage at close range.
The TMP is useful as secondary weapon on classes with primary weapons which aren't really good at close quarters combat.

TMP has good damage and awesome RoF but has shit mag capacity. It takes 3-5 second to empty your magazine. And yh akimbo is horrible. There is practically a blind spot in FRONT of you.

i guess infinity ward just needed 1 more secondary, 'cause tmp is uzi but then secondary and carried with 2 hand instead of 1(uzi)

Not a bad option. Good close-range weapon when your primary isn't handy and pretty dang accurate, too. Only problem is that it's too weak with a Silencer and the Extended Mags only extend it to 25 bullets per clip, not 30.
My secondary of choice is spas-12 with grip. Very accurate for shotgun with an impressive range, awesome collateral damage, albeit a disappointing rate of fire. But hey it's a shotgun.
