MW2 Free Weekend
What do you think of Activision's move to release the multiplayer component for free this weekend.
I think it's a poor decision. So far I have yet to join a map that didn't have a hacker, as everyone is making a new account getting the game then hacking the shit out of it. It is rather annoying. They should've made an IWnet sub server to take all the "free" players.
Anyway, what do you think of it?
I keep Getting Disk Read Error any help?
At one point, it was getting terrible with the amount of hackers at one point. I couldn't enjoy a decent Ground War match (even though I was hacking too =P). Later on in the day, it got better and I was able to go several rounds without a hacker (to my knowledge and what the kill cam showed).
But yeah, I'm sure they meant well for the free weekend idea, but it's simply giving the hackers a chance to go all out without any penalties to their real account by simply making another one.
