I understand that this has been undetectable for some time and that if you use it correctly, you are fine. However, I am curious as to why this works compared to other things. Like I know it might work because EasyAntiCheat isn't necessarily running when you do it but that would likewise be the same for changing files before launching the game. Why does this specifically work but changing bloodpoints doesn't. Does that mean your rank is saved on your local computer while your bloodpoints are on a server or something? Just trying to understand the reasoning.

I think if the bloodpoints were serverside, we couldn't modify them.

Yes it is, but no one cant say how long it will be.. just dont "abuse" it too much and you should be fine.

Damn.. I think this would be possible with the save file right? If I remember correctly there was a value called "LastUsedCamper" (= last used survivor) and something similar for Killer. IF we had a bypass this could be possible to change the value to get access to DLC right?
