What am I doing wrong? I load the game up and press to play, and it freezes on connecting...

Based on that, it seems you've done it correctly, so most likely you've changed something SOMEWHERE else that is causing that.

Not sure if it's me being stupid, but when I'm doing the steps you showed to have say...Retro Savini it still shows the original Savini Jason in-game.

Update: I've got it working for every Jason barring Savini but I'm going to assume that's tied to him not having a bloody skin for me, whenever I try and play bots the game crashes.

I don't have the bloody skin, and retro savini still works for me. It's not tied to that.

How do I get Jason X in game ? I puted this: /Game/Characters/Killers/Jason/JX/Jason_Uber.Jason_Uber_C in killerpick (both) but dont work and sometimes crash and even if I put there F... or R... still doesn't work. Please help or send me your SCCharacterPreferences and SCCharacterSelections. Please I really need somebody's help.

While it's somehow possible, I haven't figured it out yet myself, mainly because after a while it got boring for me. Anyone that HAS figured it out, feel free to post it or post progress to it!

So anyone come across the skin for Savini, or do you have to have the physical backer copy in order for it to work?

If anyone could help I am wondering how do you get the edited file to work in game. Every time I edit anything Killer, Perk, Cloths with HxD my game does not crash it opens up normally but it deletes everything from my file not just the things I edited. It takes all my cloths, perks and kills from all my counselors and Jason so I have to reapply everything again.

All I want to do is changed AJs one piece swimsuit with her skull shirt textures. I did it before with the clothing swap glitch but the game updated and put all my stuff back to defualt. This is the AJ shirt code I found ( _.../Game/Blueprints/ClothingData/Rocker/Default/Rocker_Default_Shirt_12****cker_Default_Shirt_12_C ) I paste that over her swimsuit materials but like I said when I start the game it just sets everything back to defualt.

Yeah got it but doesn't work for me. Believe your savini must be a legit backer copy as mine doesn't have the option to switch skin.
