According to the 2nd amendment it's their right. The government is simply providing arms and ammunition to them. It doesn't matter if they're crazy or dangerous as long as they're lawfully able to obtain the weapons.



If you want to know the real source of this then look at who benefits from this. The homeless people aren't going to benefit much by having a shotgun to shoot each other with. The people who manufacture the weapons, and sell them are the ones who will make the money. The private sector is what creates arms. We're capitalists, that's why everything in America is great. Because we made it profitable for the private sector to control every aspect of our country. We are literally ran by our own people, it's just on the private sector the top rich benefit the most. But since they are still apart of the private sector the politicians try to play these narratives as a topic of individual freedom. Right wingers buy into this as if any sort of government takeover in any industry is seen as treason against the people. In reality we have to limit the private sector, the NRA specifically works as a buffer between politicians and arms manufactures/dealers. They take all the money from these businesses and turn around and buy politicians off and force them to do certain things if bribery isn't enough. (By lawsuit, or appeal to retarded voters with propagated narratives from the mainstream media since they buy them too).
