    What cable charges a surface?

    I wanted to buy a spare cable to charge my surface with. The surface charges with a micro usb cable. However, when I put a different micro usb cable (not the one that came with the box) it doesn't charge. Is there a specific type of cable I need?

    I have the Pro 1 and 2 and they don't charge via microusb

    Are you fucking saying that you charge a laptop-tablet hybrid using USB? How long does it take to fully charge?
    I swear, even the chromebook pixel charges using USB-C.
