The Malware Algorithms these days can either bypass if not evade the AV signatures but still AV's can be used as to protect against website based injections, ESET is cool , doesnt mess much with system ops and cpu resources

looking for a new antivirus i used to use alot of iobit products but i was recently just told that its ass
malwarebytes was nice but its invasive and cost money now, back then it didnt

give me some recommendations
