Investing into a Crypto? What should I choose?

So me and my dad were looking to invest into a coin, now sure which but we'd each be dumping $1k-$3k into a coin and like some feedback/suggestions from those who are a bit more educated on the topic?

My dad is set on buying $3k of Ripple but I'm unsure about this.

Help would be appreciated

investing into a singular coin isn’t how you invest. You should invest in multiple coins. I believe ripple, ethereum and EOS are pretty “blue chip” coins.

Since there has been confirmation banks will begin to use Xrp and all the partnerships they have i think its a safe investment.
A few tips though stay away from ICOs (Most of them will be scams, take months to launch and dump when they get listed)

Never post about how much money you have or you are investing (This will make you a target)

ripple is a solid coin which over time I believe will rise in price.
ETH is also a solid steady coin.

This, but I would not put even a majority of $3K into Ripple. There are products/coins with links to lots of companies, one in particular with PWC, so do a little research and you can find some great investments at low values.

Wow 61% honestly they do sell but also buy back then repeat im all for the price manipulation and expect xrp to continue doing this until/if they get to a point where they cant do it/get a way with it
I dont know what to believe banks lie minds are changed if they didnt want to partner up with them i dont know why so many did lolz

Invest on multiple coins, not only one.

Go into XRP, it's cheap at the moment after the market plunged.

If you don't dig XRP cause it's centralized, go into ETH.

Bitcoin is the gold standard of the cryptocurrencies. We have proof and history that everytime a bitcoin goes up, all the other coins goes up, vise versa. So I would stick to bitcoin for a safe investment.

Check Telcoin, its almost free(if we talking about price now) and team working withour any troubles on the way. So, in next 2-3 years you will get x10-3000 easily.
