Somebody got my ip from fortnite (How can i grab ips)

So a random guy in squads who i was shit talking because he was calling america shit ect somehow got my ip addres through fortnite i swear i didnt press a link or anything he got my ip from fortnite directly I bluffed my way into mking him think i was using a residential vpn with some socail engieering but still this could be useful is there anyway to ip log in fortnite besides sending links of course can you like wireshark fortnite im so confused at how this happend anyone know of any methods to get ips in fortnite?
