What you're experiencing is known as DOMS or Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Due to the shock of exercise done, your body hasn't adapted to the new stimuli yet. Your muscles will tear and repair over the next couple of days until full recovery. Generally speaking, DOMS is at it's peak 48 hours after your workout. Seeing as you haven't worked out in a while, it'll be quite sore until you become more consistent with training and your body is no longer shocked by exercise.

of course, you arent used to this intense workout for your body. take a break, and go back on the grind, you will not be this sore by the second time you repeat your exercises

This guy is completely right. DOMS is really normal and after you get into working out you stop to get them.

Have fun and dont hurt yourself!

if youre not sore, youre not pushing yourself hard enough. you need to break down the muscles in order for them to grow stronger. but take your doctors advice

Soreness is completely normal but make sure you don't workout for more than 45 mins per day and eat a good protein rich diet to heal those muscles and help them grow.

    DOMS.

    Muscle tear, muscle regenerate bigger.

    No tear, no bigger muscle.

sore is when you starting out, they dont get sore after you are working out for some time, unless you have some unhuman powers and can make them sore, doubtful if you worked out more than 1 month.

If you workout regularly you shouldn't be sore after work out, if you are you should tone done the intensity.
