How to calculate Cumulative playtime
The information on this thread is tested. Cumulative playtime IS NOT ENCRYPTED.
All you need to calculate your cumulative playtime is a calculator. Besides the tutorial on cumulative playtime I wrote also some good tips that can make your save look more legit.
The cumulative playtime is a value in everyone save file that store how much you played Dead by daylight. Your Cumulative playtime is in the upper section of cloudsave, before survivors and killers data. Cumulative playtime is bassicaly time spent in-game but in miliseconds.
This are 2 examples of cumulative playtime :
5765409130000 ( Around 160 hours of gameplay)
22428336910000 ( Around 623 hours of gameplay)
BEFORE SHOWING HOW IT'S CALCULATED NOTE THIS : As you saw in the examples above, last 4 digits ARE ALLWAYS 0000. LAST 4 DIGITS ARE NOT PART OF CUMULATIVE PLAYTIME, IT'S A CONSTANT VALUE THAT IS THERE FOR WHATEVER REASON AND IT'S PART OF EVERYONE'S CUMULATIVE PLAY TIME. AFTER YOU CALCULATED THE CUMULATIVE PLAYTIME, AT THE END YOU HAVE TO PUT 4 ZEROS

So as I mentioned cumulative playtime is the time you played the game in miliseconds. Considering that 1 second = 1000 miliseconds, 1 minute = 60 seconds = 60000 miliseconds and 1 hour = 60 minutes it's not hard to calculate cumulative playtime
The easiest formula is :
Number of hours you want to have X 60 X 60000.
At the final result add 4 ZEROS and you have your cumulative playtime you wished.

Let's take 22428336910000 and decompose It. First Remove the 4 constant digits that doesn't count.
2242833691 this is the amount spent in game, in miliseconds. 2242833691 divided by 60000 miliseconds ( cause a minute have 60000 miliseconds), divided by 60 ( cause a hour have 60 Minutes). The final result is 623,009 hours, which means 623 hours and several seconds of playtime.
This is how you can deduct your playtime if you know your cumulative playtime.

Now let's see some examples of how to calculate cumulative playtime for a number of hours :
Let's take for example 255 hours : 255 X 60 X 60000 ( 255 hours multiplied by 60 minutes multiplied by 60000 miliseconds). The result is 918000000. This is the amount of miliseconds spent in game. At this result add the constant value 4 ZEROS. After adding the 4 ZEROS at our result, you get your final answer that is 9180000000000 . Congrulations, you just calculates the cumulative playtime of 255 hours.
Let's see another example:
1260 hours: 1260 X 60 X 60000. The result is 4536000000. Add the 4 constant zeros and the final result and the cumulative playtime for 1260 hours is: 45360000000000.

Now I know what most of you thinking. Your cumulative playtime is more random not only a bunch of zeros. Don't you worry, the cumulative playtime calculated for an exact amount of hours will be a simpler number.
After you inject it and play at least a minute you will see that besides last 4 zeros that will never change, the other digits will be different.

In summary to calculate your cumulative playtime: Number of hours you want X 60 X 60000. At the end of result add the 4 ZEROS that are a constant value and you got your cumulative playtime for that number of hours you deserved.

For me this wasn't hard to understand when I tested it, it's a bit of math but if you have any questions or problems just reply to thread and if I can I will help you.

NOTE: CUMULATIVE PLAYTIME STARTS COUNTING AFTER THE LOADING SCREEN, SO EVERY TIME YOU START THE GAME AND YOU ARE IN LOADING SCREEN STEAM WILL REGISTER ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO ONE MINUTE THAT THE GAME WON'T REGISTER IN CUMULATIVE PLAYTIME.

IMPORTANT : Now after you calculated the cumulative playtime of 2000 hours to play with that legacy, and injected it in save file you have to adjust your matches also.
Let's start with few notions :
Around cumulative playtime there are also this 4 important values :
Cumulative sessions = number of times you opened the game ( if you have reached the menu, just opened the game and closed while in loading screen don't think it will count as a session.
Cumulative matches: all your played matches, survivor and killer added.
Cumulative matches as survivor : matches you played as survivor
Cumulative matches as killer: matches you played as killer.
Changing this values is VERY IMPORTANT. TRY TO HAVE AT LEAST 3.8 matches per hour.
For example if you have 1000 hours you SHOULD have at least 3800 matches. You are not just opening the game and staying in menu.
If for example you have 1000 hours and 3800 cumulative matches make sure you have like 2200 as survivor, 1600 as killer or something like that. If you have 1000 hours in cumulative playtime, 3800 cumulative matches, 200 as killer 300 as survivor it will be obvious u hacked. Use your brain and change the values smartly.
I said that you should have at least 3,8 matches per hour. That is just like the minimum safe value. You can choose how many matches you have per hour. I would say anything between 3,8 and 4,5 matches per hour is legit looking and safe. Me personally I play about 4,25 matches every hour.
You can even go to your favorite killer data in the Json tab and boost his stats ( every killer have a count about how many survivors he sacrificed). But be careful and use your brain there too. You have survivor ids , boost amount of Claudette meg nea and Dwight in principal, I mean the survivors people play, don't boost toi much Quentin Laurie and other survivors that you never play against.

ALL THE INFORMATION ON THIS THREAD IS VERY HELPFUL IN MAKING YOUR SAVE FILE LOOK WAY MORE LEGIT. If you add 2k hours u can even play with legacy if you want. I don't recommend hacking legacy because it's risky, but if you want, it's your choice.

At the end I want to say that If you have issues, you don't understand something or I made a mistake or an error, reply with your problem and I will help you if I can.

Extract your save file with cloud extract. Open the cloudsave with savegame editor, go to Json tab and scroll abit down, you will see a thing called cumulative playtime. If you want to add more playtime to your save file use my formula to change the cumulative playtime to how many hours you want, then save it and inject it with cloud editor.

Might be one of this two : you either don't save your cloudsave or you don't inject it properly. If you open cloudsave and don't have the modded save file in other folder it will be overwriten

Hey, buddy.
1.Cumulative sessions
2.Cumulative matches
3.Cumulative matches as survivor
4.Cumulative matches as killer
I've changed all four of these things and I've edited them in the cloud.I used the cloud to extract the saved text, It's also changed. But my steam-powered game time is still real for me.

Because that doesn't change. This change the save file, to make it look like u played more and don't get banned if devs check your progress eventually
