So... This tool only works for Multiplayer? Not for Single Player?

I've been trying to find a functional tool to alter the Single Player FOV all day. The MapModNews one doesn't work anymore (despite the MW2, MW3, etc ones working just fine :Thinking.

Sigh. The campaign will be completely unplayable for me if I can't increase the FOV. This is ridiculous.

How's the situation in mid 2019? Is it still undetected and does VAC (if it's even in Ghosts anymore/working) detect this or other FOV changers? I am currently using flawlesswidescreen on my alt account to test if I get banned or not, but that program's fov caps out at 90. I'd like to get 100-110 for Ghosts.
