Yes, i have my own updater writen on Java, but it's for personal use only.

I believe that serious a good alternative to avoid new problems with the wave of hacked accounts.

I will try to do this in c#, to see that such a result

I've attempted it a long time ago and gave up but I was not as experienced as now. I very recently just made a very simple updater (grabs packetids and version), I'm kinda willing to revisit this project. I previously wanted to make one that had customizable plugins so people could make their own hacks instead of it being hardcoded like orape was.
