    Computer Upgrades

I just recently got a rx580 8gb gpu and Battlefield 1. It laggs pretty bad because my cpu is outdated. Should I just buy a fast AM3+ cpu since i already have the socket or should I go ahead and upgrade my mobo? My current ram is only DDR3.

Basicly Im asking will a AMD - FX-8350 Black Edition Octa-Core 4.0 GHz processor be good for a little over a year or am I gonna have to go ahead and full new build?

    ^Suck it!

Ur current ram won't be useful for future games tho. A cpu upgrade like that is cool, but you might have to upgrade your ram to ddr4 to.

Depends what FPS you're trying to achieve on what settings. If you have a 144Hz+ some games won't even touch 144 frames with a 8350 and rx 580

8gb ram is not enough for powerful games even with good gpu, better to upgrade to 16gb ram

Avoid using FX CPU at all costs. I suggest you buying ryzen 2000 or 3000 series, depends how big your budget is. You can find used ryzen 3700 for less than 250$ if lucky.
