I too got that problem. I just updated to windows 10 with "delite all files"
1.Check Security boot status:
1)Win+R
2)msinfo32
3)Found security boot here

2.Update to last windows 10 version
1)Go to https://go.microsof*****m/fwlink/?LinkId=691209 (In browser)
2)Open it
3)Update this PC
4)Delite all files and install windows 10
5)When you installed download drivers and that spoofer
6)Open "inject" with admin rights
7)It will close it self without windows crash



Now you can enjoy HWID+now you can install another windows unban

So, I just got this laying around, and as many people are Hardware Banned, and wanna play this Game badly, I am just releasing this for th repz.

Instructions

1. Whenever your HWID resets aka you restart your PC, and you wanna play DBD, run the inject.exe (You can check your HWIDs by using wmic diskdrive get serialnumber in cmd)
2. Disable your windows secure boot:

3.Use a different payment method to buy the game , not the same you used for the hwid banned accounts.Better to buy it from g2a , kinguin etc, any site that's not steam.
4. Play Dead by Daylight.

This could get detected any time, meaning you could get banned anytime.
It should work fine for now though, and I will keep this updated.
Also, what I recommend to get full safety, to restart your PC after using this to play other Games, as this doesn't work on BattlEye.
- For "Assertion failed: m_capcom_driver.get() != INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE", disable SECURE BOOT

I can confirm it's detected by now, but due to detection you would get banned after 3-4 days (tested it on ~3 accounts), so I don't know what you did, but it most likely shown an error, which you didn't realize.
