Energy Drinks: Yes or No?

No need at all for energy drinks, if you slept a proper 8 hours and drink 2-3 litres of water a day you'll feel much better than being on red bull etc.

but the problem with people is that sometimes getting that 8 hour sleep isn't possible, some people have to spend most of their time in their jobs, etc

but either way, no need to drink that much sugar and caffeine

I understand you haven't had any problems so far, but later on in the road the problems will most likely show.
You never know exactly what's being put in there, and what we do know is already bad. There are lots of scientific studies that show that energy drinks are bad for you. Especially when a large amount is consumed daily.
But it's your life, I can't control that.

About 2 years ago I drank a Red Bull my brother bought because I've had 0 hours of sleep in about 2 and a half days and I was tired as fuck, and I couldn't go to sleep because I was playing CSGO. I literally fell asleep an hour later after the game ended

I only drink them mixed with alcohol. If I need an energy boost I tend to drink a strong coffee. These energy drinks are just way to sweet for me.

Jeez. The UK is always finding something to ban. I personally don't like them because they're very unhealthy and they do not give you any energy. I used to hate them for both it being loaded with sugars and other ingredients, but also for its bad taste. There are some that taste decent and I only drink with alcohol on certain occasions. As for the limiting the purchase of them, I don't think they should. They're plenty of unhealthy choices out there. People will just seek another items or find ways to get the drink. Some people just need to learn the hard way so let them keep drinking.
