Posters for a modern event/service - NEED Feedback

These are a couple posters I made purely for practice. I would appreciate as much feedback, tips and help as possible as I know they aren't that good and I want to improve, thank you

1st Poster Is Pretty Standard, The 2nd I Wouldn't Know What's Going On.

See I think it depends on what you're going for. I prefer the second poster's design but there isn't much information space. I am not fond of the first design as much; I think it is slightly too basic somehow

1st is way to basic.
Second one is much better. Like what you did with the letters
But still needs some improvement because theres none info on it

First one is too plain in my opinion everyone uses that kind of layout for poster where as the second one is more of a mordern look. Would recommend the second one.
