i just found this discarded laptop near my dads work i want it so i can play dvds in the car it works but i cant log in i dont know the user and password
if anyone can give me a few pointers on how to get in it wood be wiked

he means get someone who can reinstall windows(or watever its running on) to the lattop so u can create ur own user...
its pointless to try and find out user and pass
but try this:
user: Administrato
pass: [they usually put no pass on laptops for personal use]
try those meby they'll work

or just frikkin run the fucking labtop on fucking SAFE MODE lol i run other pplz computer on save mode and i dont have to log in. Iono it should work for you. Oh btw just tap f8 hella wen starting up and it will go into a mode menu, just choose safe mode
For WinXP there are some programs that can decode/reset the password.
If your rig uses this OS then search for "Super WinPE" and use "Locksmith" if I remember correct.

or you can run system recovery by hitting f10 wenz ya start, so then you can start off fresh and clean
you can try creating a new account. Or if you no the username then I have a small thing of most used passwords.

Yes, just rebot the computer... hold f8 as it starts up and press "Safe Mode" and you should be able to just login as the administrator, unless the admin has a pass on it (Probably wont) and when you get on, make a new account and remove the other accounts, reboot into normal oot and your done
Formate the shit aint hard... just get a XP cd.. or download xp and burn it to a cd... it aint that hard
