How to remove fog/smoke effects in mw?

Hey guys, i used to use OSHIcod6 (oldscoolhack) for mw2, and it had a feature to remove the smoke effects/fog effects....i was wondering, since i dont use the hack anymore is there still anyway i could do this without the hack? like editing a file? if so what do i edit?
