i'd still choose a gaming pc, depends on what you're using it for..
budget $2000
Was wondering if a macbook is better than building a customized gaming pc with just $2000?
i'd still choose a gaming pc, depends on what you're using it for..
Would never recommend a Macbook, especially if you're considering the other option to be a gaming PC.
Obviously, since you did consider the Macbook as an option, you would probably want it for portability?
I'd then recommend a gaming laptop at that price range since it'll get you portability + gaming.
For your question though, if you don't need the portability factor, go with a gaming PC. If you need portability, Macbook

Just get a PC, better Hardware for less money.
Then you can install OSX as a Hackintosh, i use it now for like 5 Years and im really happy with it!
Gaming PC = For Gaming

I would never go for a macbook, unless of course if I'm into coding/development of any kind. But if you'd plan to game, then yes, a gaming PC is the way to go.
But, if the reason why you considered buying a macbook is because you do develop/code, then a gaming PC would still be the best choice, you could game and code at the same time.
Buy a MacBook, refund it, sell it and put that money plus what you having into a gaming pc

if you're going to play games dont buy a macbook
