    Post Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer Playing Guide (Weapons, Perks, Hints)

    Here is a guide on how to play multiplayer and how to play good.

    Hints:
    -Never run around corners without checking, people like to camp.
    -When going through wide open areas, check for snipers.
    -When you are attacking (SnD, Sab, etc), move slowly and try to remain crouched.
    -Don't throw grenades or special grenades unless you know someone is where you are planning to throw. These attract allot of attention when they explode.
    -Check for red lights on claymores around corners, they can be hard to see. If planned correctly they can be run past.
    -Conserve ammo, don't shoot someone unless you know you can hit them.
    -Knife where possible, but remember you make footstep sounds and you make a noise when you knife.
    -If you don't use a silencer, and/or you play in non-hardcore - avoid camping in the same spot for more than 2 or 3 kills.
    -Try to flank your enemy and get behind them. Take them out from behind, they never expect you to be there and they are concentrating on what's ahead.
    -Wait till there's about 15 seconds left in Search and Destroy before you plant the bomb. This will surprise the enemy, and sometimes they reveal their position by shooting into the sky, assuming they won.
    -Check on and under the 'target' in Search and Destroy before planting. Also check near the bomb for anyone who is camping.
    -If you hear footsteps or gunfire from nearby, camp somewhere within reach and if known, aim at the corner the person may come from.
    -Don't panic if you are the last person alive. Take your time and go stealthly. Suicide only makes the enemies laugh and makes your team angry.
    -Claymores are rare, and have lasers coming from them. Place them so that the lasers are not visible through the doorway. Claymores can also be placed in fields, because people don't commonly check the ground out there.
    -C4s can be very handy. Try to place them inside the dynamic (movable when shot) objects in the map. This makes them invisible and hard to find. In Search and Destroy, place the C4 under the bomb site, people don't commonly look there.
    -If you are sniping, find a good sniping spot that you can lye down, and wait there. If you move while not lying down, it is easy to see you and your sniping in that area is over unless you take out the person that seen you. Also, try to aim at the head - this makes people think you're good of you keep getting headshots, and it is definately a 1 hit kill.
    -If you are rioting, make sure you are crouching when an enemy is in sight and when you are conering. Also try to lean slightly forward so they can't shoot your feet.

    Perks:
    Marathon: Unlimited sprint. PRO: Climb objects faster. - Suitable for a rushing class.
    Sleight of hand: Faster reloading. PRO: Faster aiming. - Suitable for Assault and Sniper classes. Very important on Light Machinegun classes (I recommend this for Slot 1 because it really helps when enemies come around corners or when you need to move quickly sometimes.)
    Scavenger: Resupply from dead enemies. PRO: Extra Mags (Bandolier in Cod4) - Suitable for tubing classes, not really for much else.
    Bling: 2 primary weapon attachments. PRO: 2 secondary weapon attachments. - Can help in camping classes. In some combinations, 2 attachments are better than one.
    One man Army: Swap classes at any time. PRO: Swap faster. - This is suitable for those with 2 or 3 one man army classes. It is also handy for campers and for rioters.
    Stopping Power Increased bullet damage. PRO: Extra damage against enemy vehicles. - Suitable for Non-Hardcore. (I recommend this because it allows for much better damage and it allows you to kill faster and easier. Always use this when you have a sniper or assault class.)
    Lightweight Move faster. PRO: Quick aim after sprinting. - Suitable for rushing classes and for flankers.
    Hardline Killstreaks require 1 less kill. PRO: Deathstreaks require 1 less death. - Not useful for much. Try to avoid using this.
    Cold Blooded Undetectable by UAV, air support, sentries, and thermal. PRO: No red crosshair or name when targeted. - Suitable for stealth classes and for Hardcore. (I recommend this for all hardcore classes - it is the single most important in hardcore modes.)
    Danger Close Increased explosive weapon damage. PRO: Extra air support damage. - Suitable for tubing classes. Not handy for much else.
    Commando Increased melee distance. PRO: No falling damage. - Suitable for those who want to jump around on top of buildings, not much else.
    Steady Aim Increased hip-fire accuracy. PRO: Longer hold breath duration. - Not useful for much. Barely noticeable.
    Scrambler Jam enemy radar near you. PRO: Delay claymore explosions. - Useful for flankers.
    Ninja Invisible to heartbeat sensors. PRO: Your footsteps are silent. - Suitable for rushers, snipers, campers and flankers. (I recommend this perk because it allows for fast, stealthy movement. It is the best green perk.)
    SitRep Detect enemy explosives and tactical insertions. PRO: Louder enemy footsteps. - Handy for special ops classes and for those that hate claymores.
    Last Stand Pull out your pistol before dying. PRO: Use equipment in last stand. - Not useful, most enemies wait until they get the 'You Killed ...' thing before they stop shooting. Anyway, you're as good as dead by then.

    Weapons:
    Assault
    Non-Hardcore - Scar-H: Deadly with fmj and Stopping Power. In some cases, one hit kill. It has very good damage, and is very accurate. Ignore the low fire rate, this weapon is very powerful.
    Hardcore - ACR: As accurate as snipers. Very good fire rate. Use it with the Red Dot Sight.
    SMGs
    Non-Hardcore - UMP45: Very powerful and has a very nice fire rate. Works well with the Holographic Sight.
    Hardcore - Vector: Very high fire rate, and is absolute ownage with a silencer.
    Light Machineguns
    Non-Hardcore - AUG HBAR: Nice weapon. Very accurate and has nice damage. Use it with fmj.
    Hardcore - M240: Works well with a foregrip. Large magazines and reasonable accuracy. It also features a nice fire rate.
    Snipers
    Non-Hardcore - Barret .50cal: Large damage, but high recoil. Works well with fmj. One hit kill with stopping power.
    Hardcore - M21 EBR: Very low recoil with a nice fire rate. Works well with a silencer and a heartbeat sensor.
    Handguns
    Non-Hardcore - .44 Magnum: High recoil, but deadly in 2-3 hits. Works well with tactical knife.
    Hardcore - USP.45: Nice weapon. Works well with a silencer. (Akimbo on these is absolute ownage when it comes to knifing. It's like 3 times faster than tactical knife.)
    Launchers
    Non-Hardcore - Javelin: Lock-on and easy to blow people up on the other side of the map.
    Hardcore - AT4-HS: Easy to use and kills fast. Handy for clearing out a room with multiple targets in it.
    Shotguns
    Non-Hardcore - M1024: One hit kill with used with fmj and stopping power (at less than 10m in range).
    Hardcore - Striker: Nice fire rate and can help with clearing rooms fast. Reasonably sized mags. Works well with the Red Dot Sight.
    Machine Pistols
    Non-Hardcore or Hardcore - M93 Raffica: 2 bullet hits kill with this when used with stopping power. Looks nice when used with the holographic sight. This weapon is basically a miniature M16. This is a MUST have for any sniper.
    Hardcore - TMP: Works well with extended mags or a silencer. Low recoil and lots of damage.
    Other
    Riot Shield: Blocks bullets and allows for securing areas safely.

    Deathstreaks:
    Copycat: Useless when you are at a high level. But it can help out when you are a lower level.
    Painkiller: Good for small maps and free for all.
    Martyrdom: Useful for ninja classes and rushers.
    Final Stand: Useful for snipers. If you snipe, you commonly snipe behind something, so you can crawl to safety and find a new sniping spot.

    Equipments:
    Frag: Good for clearing rooms.
    Semtex: Handy against rioters.
    Throwing Knife: Good for showing off and epic winning kill cams.
    Tactical Insertion: Not handy for much. Good if you want to flank the enemy by placing it in your spawn then going to the other side of the map. Eventually the enemy will spawn near it and you will get killed and spawn near them.
    Blast Shield: Handy for rioters. Survive getting stuck by semtex.
    Claymore: A must-have for a sniper.
    C4: Handy in Search and Destroy.

    Class Recommendations:
    Non-Hardcore:
    Assault:
    Primary: Scar-H FMJ
    Secondary: M1024 FMJ
    Equipment: Semtex
    Special Grenade: Flash
    Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
    Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
    Perk 3: Ninja Pro
    Death Streak: Final Stand

    Sniper:
    Primary: Barret .50cal FMJ
    Secondary: M93 Raffica Holographic
    Equipment: Claymore
    Special Grenade: Smoke
    Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
    Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
    Perk 3: Ninja Pro
    Death Streak: Final Stand

    Hardcore:
    Assault:
    Primary: ACR Red Dot Sight
    Secondary: Striker Red Dot Sight
    Equipment: Semtex
    Special Grenade: Flash
    Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro

    Sniper:

    Red dot sight it's useless on shotgun, it doesn't have a long range of fire, so you can aim very easily from hip. xD
    In the rest this is a very usefull tutorial for users looking for some tips. Good job!

    Red Dot sight is there because you can zoom in quicker than a Holo sight, and it has almost the same zoom level.
