    Upgrade recommendations?

Hi, I would like the community's take on if I should upgrade now or is my rig fine for the time being.

    My current parts:
    Ryzen 7 1800X
    Corsair h100iv2
    Cosair RGB DDR4 16GB
    Aorus 1080ti waterforce
    EVGA 750 watt psu

Any recommendations are warmly welcomed and appreciated, thanks for your time!

That's definitely fine for now, but you could get the Ryzen 3000 series when they come out in a few months (Zen 2) which will have improvements in game further then the 2000 series had.

Your machine is currently decent for most applications for now

That GPU itself is still very good, unless you are looking at prettier lighting on an RTX, then I wouldn't recommend upgrading it until the price drops for current RTX cards

The premiums for better tesselation is just crazy.....

Honestly I'm getting an RTX 2080 Ti soon, but that's because my current GPU is a GTX 1060

What resolution are you playing on? Unless you're aiming for 2K 144hz or 4K else its just overkill

The build seems pretty good, I don't see much reason to upgrade it. If you are still looking to upgrade, you better wait for Ryzen 3000 series.

well it seems like a very nice build. Whether you should upgrade or not is a different question. If you feel like performance is fine and everything runs well then there is no point in upgrading. But if you want more fps in games or whatever and can afford it then upgrade.
