alteriw.net is down?

I was in game & got sudden dc a minute ago, then i tried access the alteriw.net website but it shows this:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Anyone had this problem?

Happened before, it was down for about 30 or 45 minutes. Doesn't say anything about now though.

In gamefolder edit alterIWnet.ini, instead of Server=server.alteriw.net it has Server=pc1.col7.net. It's live, but few people connect to that server.
To make your own connectable server, I don't exactly know, but I thought I saw a guide on this site how to connect with friends by editing alterIWnet.ini.
