so why not change it?

i just checked and you can actually get way better cards for the same amount of money
but in the end youll have much better performance etc than with the card your uncle is trying to sell to you, as the cooler on that is just barely adequate

I send an email for him late yesterday - and, he hasn't replied, obviously since he is a busy guy and he clocks out at 5 PM or something like that (even though his workshop is at the same building as he lives in - my dad build it), so gotta wait for a little while.

I would change it, but my mobo is old and is not supported by a better cpu, I want something good that is around the price of 400-500 euros, and preferably 7th gen or 8th gen, 7i, but idk man.

i wouldnt at all go lower than 8th gen, try to go 9th gen if possible unless you get a really good deal on an 8700k

Take look at 1060 or 1070, those are very good cards, I got 1060 and almost everything works on Ultra in 1080p with 45-60 fps

It'd be rather hard to play a game on ultra without running the game on 144 as my monitor (which are two of them), both which are running on 144hz, which is sort of useless, but whatever...

Looked, but I want to have RTX feature once my new build is 100% done.

yeah a 2080 would be way to much for your usecase

If you don't have the money for a completely new pc, then yes, you should upgrade only your gpu, buy a rtx 2070.

honestly get a 2700 ryzen and a 1080ti.. both can be had for hueg discounts right now and would blow your current system out of the water! i built mine for less then 1000 dollars and its a beast!

Honestly if it were me I'd probably just build a new pc from scratch and salvage/use whatever you want from your old build and go ahead and upgrade. I am curious as to why you want the i7-3770k; because of price? I believe you could probably find a much better CPU for a little bit more pricey.

I don't want the i7-3770k as I already have it in my current PC build, and I am planning to build a new PC that has 9th gen i7, 16GB DDR4 ram and use everything else pretty much from the current build.

that will benefit you the most for streaming and making youtube vids

so you can either keep your current stream settings and have more fps or stream in higher quality without compromising on fps
