Adding more than a million bloodpoints with cheat engine

Just saying, this is incredibly stupid to do as it can be very easily detected. Only posting this to make it public as my last post seems to have been deleted.

So DBD has another store of bloodpoints that isn't capped at 1 million that is used legitimately to give players compensation over lost progress. It's called bonusexperience in your save, and your total experience is calculated by adding your bloodpoints with your bonusexperience.

With that being said, you can edit your bonusexperience by simply finding the offset of your bloodpoints and adding 0x4 to it. This is 4 in hexadecimal, so if you don't understand base 16 systems then I would recommend opening windows calculator, setting it to programmer mode and selecting the hex option. Then you can just paste the bloodpoint offset into there and add 4 to it, then copy the new value and put this new address into cheat engine.

This isn't automatically detected but you can be sure that as soon as a ticket is filed against you, you are 100% getting banned.


// Update : If you are wanting to edit your bloodpoints after going over the limit, you will have to find the correct offset by scanning for your current bloodpoints minus a million. For example if the game is showing that you have 20 million (20000000) you will need to scan for 19 million instead (19000000). The devs don't exactly have a crystal ball they look into to see if you have modded or not. I think I've given enough info on this forum as to what they can and can't do, it's not impossible to make a legit looking save.

Wow. I have over 900 mill BP and I am getting shit ton of hatemail after almost every game by survivors for the past 6 months and I've neer been banned. Using my hacked save since 2016 November. All prestige and legacy skins hacked, no biggie

I've had 900 million BP since patch 1.9.0 and still haven't been banned. also hacked legacy etc.

Can they see in your save file that you've had more than 1 million bloodpoints at one point? Or is it only an auto ban if you currently have > 1 million bloodpoints and they happen to check your save file?

Any BP added over the 1 million limit is called "bonus experience" in the save file which is a blood point compensation for people who's save files have been lost. From what I could assume the devs can easily look on your ticket history and see if you've had issues with it but if you're lucky they might be lazy and write it off as another dev giving bp unless the amount is unreasonably high.
