i think there are people working on the technology so im sure its there somewhere

the problem is that if you have an actually GOOD server then it for sure works, but when services like aws or ms do the hosting in their giant server farms the quality will decrease a lot

like it was in early pubg/fortnite days, in the beginning of the matches there were huuuge lag spikes which made the game bad
this is partly the issue of the game but also a problem with server

so in oder for this to be working you need huuge work in optimisation
