Cheapest Gaming Laptop?

Hey guys, so I wanma buy a gaming laptop that runs latest 2019 games even on low just to move around with it because I already have a high end gaming pc at home, but I want the laptop because I go out a lot. Any recommendations?

Yeah just gaming and browsing chrome that's all nothin else.
$700-800 Can go up if it's really worth.

imo the helios 300 from acer is a pretty good one

new it is like 800ish and you might be able to find one on sale for even cheaper

i would also say this is perfect in terms of performance per dollar

Yep this is exactly what I needed! I can't believe it has a GTX 1060 6GB for only 1 grand. Thanks a lot dude I ordered it today!

Hey, I heard this laptop has serious problems with heat, but youtube videos and reviews are really mixed about this some say it's nothing to be mentioned and others say it really heats up very quickly while gaming. Do you have any idea about that?

i think it really depends on a couple factors as with most laptops, like if you have it on your lap or on a table or also on what games you wanna play

I could personally vouch for Helios 300. In terms of performance per dollar, it is the best. Which variant of Helios 300 did you get?

About the thermal issues, I can't deny its presence. If you game on it straight out of the box, trust me you can feel the heat radiating from the keyboard area (its metal). The reason being is that helios 300 only has one heat vent, so 2 heat pipes (one each from cpu and gpu) combines and expelled from the heat vent at the back of the laptop. Usually a gaming laptop has separate heat vents for cpu and gpu.

Not to worry tho, there are tutorials on youtube and support group on Facebook (I'm not sure if i can link em here on MPGH) where there are tutorials to lower down the temps without affecting performance.
