What did I do to survive when I was homeless. Well, allow me first to say what I didn’t do. I DID NOT Sell my body or sexual favors, sell anything illegal such as drugs or guns, steal from stores or homes, beg on the street corners or off-ramps or anywhere for that matter.

So the next time you see someone dumpster diving doesn’t get angry or call the police or put them down. Instead, give them recyclables or give them a reassuring smile. Because look at it this way would you instead they robbed your home or your place of business, beg or push at you to give them money, or sell drugs to your kids!

I would try to get a job, anyone can get a job, even if it's the worst shit. Earn money to get a small apartment, even if it's only one room.
In germany we have some sort of agency, run by the country which will give you a job, for sure. If you don't get a job, you get 450€ a month + apartment for free, as long as you prove that you're trying to get a job. In germany you basically can't get homeless if you don't want to. If you accept the help from our infrastructure you're safe, it's paid from taxes.

The one and only thing you can do is try to get a job no matter what. Try to look your absolute best with the clothes you have on you back for interviews. If not you would have to try and get a job that doesn't involve the full information exchange and such. Someone who would pay you out of pocket for labor work or something

Some countries can't even offer a job for those who are well educated, In Morocco For example, There are thousands of people who got their degree, took and passed the exam in order to become teachers, and the country can't find places for them to work in.
And if you are looking for some kind of shit work, you can find one if you look a lot. for 3 USD a day, and an apartment can be rent for 50 usd minimum, Which means you'll get 40 usd left to buy food after you pay rent, and 40 usd won't make u survive for a month, plus you work +10 hours a day.
So, it's not always easy to work and survive in some countries.

I would get a job and rent any dumpster to sleep in. What else am I supposed to do?
I can stay at a friend's or whatever, but that would be temporary until I earn enough money from a job.

Depends why you're homeless, a lot are disabilities meaning they can't do certain things. A lot are just lazy and dont want to be stuck within the shit system of full time jobs.

How would I get out being homeless hmmm..... Well to start id go find resources that would help my case... I've been there its not that easy to get a job when your already down and out so id start with volunteering.
That would get me back into taking care of myself again and even tho I still had no home my perch in the hood house was home so i made it one.... Eventually i met someone through volunteering that lead me to more volunteering then eventually an awesome job!!
16 years later Im far from what I once was graduated college and got a degree. Being homeless feels like the end but its not work through it and be proud of what you do and yourself. I beleive when I would sleep under those stairs in the ghetto my manifestation of wanting more in life lead me to having more. Ive never looked back we manifest our futures and wants by perceiving more in life. If you think things are bad they will be. If you don't they still might be but you didnt cause it by your negativity change is starts in your mind ne strong we got one life to live so drink it smoke it fuck it read it watch it love it but most of all change it cuz you can....
