Save Editing 3.0.1

BHVR added client version check during DBD start up. Currently it's disabled. Two possible reasons: It's either made for upcoming PTB or to prevent save editing with 3.0.0 downgrade. Any way, i would recommend to no longer downgrade to 3.0.0, this doesn't look good from any point of view.

Since when? the whole time or just recently when the PTB went live? I already edited and uploaded my savefile a few hours ago. Is this bad news or not?

It's possible to edit save without downgrading so releasing updated save editor would be beneficial in the long run. As long as downgrading works there is no point showing how to edit save without downgrading, that will only make it easier for bhvr to patch.

Was talking about the save file editor that I already posted. Doesn't relate to dumping/injecting your save. Just makes it easier to modify.

Wait how did it work for you? I'm unable to get to main mnu because it keeps giving me a connection error on the press space to start part and steam forces an update

That's odd, it's already set as "AutoUpdateBehavior" "0"

Nothentheless it still forces the update when I play via steam. If I launch it from the exe it says 3.0.0 but at press space it says no internetconnection found etc.

Are you stupid read the tutorial. That downloads the 3.0.0 version. Follow the instructions

just restart the download. I also needed 2 or 3 trys to get everything. it's best if u don't do anything on your pc untill the download is finished. that kept messing my download up.
