Downloading Hacks VS. Making your own

Personally I downloaded hacks for the longest time without learning how to make my own, but some people believe that makes you kinda scummy. What are your thoughts on this?

I mean hacks are made to be used by other people so I don't see why it would be wrong to download other ppls hacks

Pretty much that is what people who don't use hacks would think, and maybe also some hack developers, but that's not the point. If someone gets it public of course it's meant to be downloaded and used by other people who probably don't know how to develop hacks or even program something by themselves. In my opinion, as long as you are getting fun with or without hacks, developed by you or someone else, it's "fine", if you don't bother other people.

Well, having your own private cheats doesn't make any one scummy, there is no rule about it, about the fact that you're obligated to share what you make, even if it is for a bit of a publicity, making your own cheats takes time, if you don't know how to make them, and takes a lot of "stress" out of you, but if you know how to make them already them, it's a problem, people share cheats because they want to have a brand under their name, or anything similar to that.

You gained access to the cheats because the people who made them decided to share them. If they didn't want you enjoying their work, they wouldn't have made that information public. It's fine to use other people's cheats, the developers always benefit one way or another.

If i make a hack and don't share it's for me but if i share it, I'd be happy seeing many use it because that's what it's intended for

I don't believe it's scummy to use other people's work at all. Building your own is great but using other people's work and making it better is more beneficial and faster then starting from nothing. I don't go out of my way to use others builds or projects but if I see something I can make work faster or work more convenient I will. Helping each other isn't part of most "hackers"agenda but it's definitely the way to go for me I do get taking advantage of a lot but idc I helped someone is all that matters.

For me the art would be get a good working detected hack source code and make it undetected yourself. This would be the fastest way. If i could just be that intelligent today i would be very happy. That's why I'm here to learn more about the subject. Thanks already for all the useful tutorials posts and contributing on here.
