Just want to thank you again, NightWalking for all the updated guides. With the newest classic Zygor, I am getting a Trojan:Script/Conteban.A!ml alert with Windows Defender. Not sure what changed with the latest Zygor update compared to all the previous ones. Just giving a heads up, I'm sure it's a false positive, but even scanning the ones before that I didn't receive any alerts.

Will fix that later

@WoWclassic So you choose to only use windows defender and nothing else?
No other virus scanner says there is an issue.
Windows defender does not scan rar files fully. So because it cannot. It says there is a virus. When no other virus scanner says there is not one.
If you converted it to zip, would it say there is a virus. When it is the exact same file just in a different archive. No because it is not a rar.

Long story short. It is proven there is no virus and I never have.
If you choose not to download and use, then that is your choice.

Didn't mean it in a bad way at all. I didn't get any alerts with Malwarebytes. Was just giving a heads up that for some reason this particular update gave out an alert with Windows Defender. I didn't think I sounded aggressive or anything at all. Sorry about that and again thanks for all the work you do for us. There's plenty of lurkers that definitely appreciate everything, myself included.

No here is the issue

People choose to use windows defender and no other cyber security.
Windows defender cannot scan rar files in full. Because it cannot scan it. then it says there is a trojan. But providing no evidence there it.
But it is like is. I cannot scan the rar file in full. So I will give a false result to validate it.

Everyone that has said the same thing. All came from Windows defender.

As for Lurkers. Yea people take and say nothing and then say something only when something is wrong.
If nothing is wrong, then they say nothing.

I gotcha, it was just the first time I've seen one of the files come up with a false positive so I figured it would be best to give you a notice. I didn't mean anything bad about it. At least your explanation cleared up why it happens. Again, sorry if I came off wrong about it.

The version of Classic posted 2 weeks ago seems to be broken like crazy. It won't remember where you left off in a guide, it won't remember guide and arrow position or size. Its like it can't write any of the saved variables. Tried doing it on a fresh install and behavior is the same.

The one posted back in December functions just fine, for comparison sake.

7zip. Just extracting the whole thing to the _Classic_ Addons folder. Used the same exact process on the December one and that's working just fine, as I said. But the one posted recently has all kinds of problems that I mentioned. I deleted the whole Zygor Classic folder and the Saved Variables files too before updating but that didn't make any difference. Then I did a fresh install of Classic and it still didn't work right so I reverted back to the older one.

I'm not sure why you're hung up on this as the December upload works but not that upload from 2 weeks ago. 7Zip would not be the issue here. I see you've put up a new upload and I can try that one here soon.

I wasn't trying to give you attitude, I'm trying to detail the problem I was having. I gave you details on what the issue was and what steps I tried to remediate it, and even what I did as a work around. Then you asked me about an app that is completely irrelevant to the issue and said it's only me. Just because you only have one person reporting an issue does not mean that there is no issue. The link has 40 downloads, and I know I'm at least 3 of those. That's not a huge sample size to say that it's "just this one person." It means I'm the only person who spoke up. I didn't even want you to solve the issue, I found my own work around, I just wanted to inform other users that they may have a problem. This was never a personal attack on you, as you acted like it was.

That all said, the new one is working just fine and I do appreciate you uploading this for us.
