He dies at the end.
Whilst at the theater Monday I saw Ad Astra over Joker. Huge mistake, Ad Astra was terrible in my opinion. But I saw something I have never once seen at the movie theater - an armed presence. Pretty cool. Sad that we live in such a world where these threats exist, but I'm glad these theaters arn't pussying out like they did with The Interview and have put some money up for armed protection.
But, I'm calling all those who have seen Joker. Is this movie being blown out of proportion or is it truly a great movie?
If you've seen Taxi Driver, The King of Comedy, American Psycho how does it compare?

To be honest i was quite bored before he started killing.
didn't like it much it's kinda boring though but I enjoyed the last 25 mi of the movie
Boy I sure love to live in a country where I can get shot in a movie theater.
Bitch I'm not Abe Lincoln.
You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.
Its name is Silence..
I thought the movie was actually pretty good throughout. Definitely not the best of all-time type but it's good.
It's good if you're into boring origin stories, personally I think it was very boring. Not your average villain or superhero movie, Joaquin's performance was good but the writing itself felt like a drag to watch. Also the ages make no sense, Joker looks like he's 40 years old while Bruce looks like he's 9. That would mean joker would be at least 60 by time Bruce becomes Batman. Martha(Bruce's mom) looks like shes at least 70. People that old don't have children. Also takes out all the mystery of Joker. It basically explains why he has a "bizarre" persona but that was always better left a mystery. Part of why Joker was a great villain was because he was unpredictable, now he's just your regular deranged guy with a fucked up childhood.
