the question is badly posed, depends on the use, if games can go even 8GB which are the bare minimum, if you make video assembly, editing, streaming,editing music, video games a lot with games weights, 16GB is the minimum best 32GB I hope I was clear .

Everything you need to do is get an 16 gb Ram or Higher.
I dont suggest you getting below 8 GB Ram tho.
it can be very lagy. in terms of games i only suggest 16gb or higher. and even browsing !
Especially if you have a good CPU that can manage everything smooth.

You are right , but for my opinion you can play games normally with 8GB , you can browsing and use office software like Word with Only 4GB.
having little ram for a game does not make you laggare but even worse the game should not even start and if it does, you should set the pc together with the cpu, RAM = RANDOM access memory, if it has no memory box the CPU does not know where support the information and freezes

Browsing,gaming,multi monitors. nothing without any lags ofc with SSD.

Surely , God forbid that it was not so, for example if you use a Ryzen system with apu 8 gb begin to be few because there is to dedicate some ram also to the gpu

yea for me everything is smooth i guess. it launches in 8 sec. i got an gtx 1080. i got a 4K TV so the scale is 150% sharp and bigger.
but i still like my Macbook Pro. fast and to go anywhere ou want.

Umm....Have always wanted something portable like the XBOX but on a PC chassis. Small monitor so i can pack it in a small bag and take wherever i go.

But cheaper and not as expensive as your average gaming laptops :3
