Apple now has a free code(s) that can be easily obtained to give you 4 month free Apple Music Unlimited for new Subscribers.
If you have subscribed for Apple Music in the past you can just create a new account. You will need a US address and payment method for the account to be set to US.

The reason why they say only 1 month on phone is because they mark devices that trialed apple music before so if you didn't trial on your PC
it'll then offer four months
