Can't connect to 059 on Steam ever since I changed the version to 34.0.0

So, when I was waiting for "34.0.0" to roll out, Some guy said to change the version to "34.0.0" and play for now while 059 rolls out the new update. But when "34.0.0" rolled out, the client didn't work, meaning I couldn't load into the Nexus or anywhere. And it also had that white text saying "34.0.0" right next to the client version. I waited for the next update which is "34.1.0" to use the client but I'm still not able to connect and it still showed the "34.1.0". How do I remove the white text, I'm thinking the white text is the problem. Here's a picture : https://imgur.com/a/fSbc6Vw

1) Click on the version number
2) Leave the field blank.
3) Click on "Set"
