How have you guys dealt with Respondus Lockdown Browser?

For people who dont know, its how most colleges deal with online classes. Locks your computer down and has your webcam record the whole time. Doesnt work if you run it in a Virtual Machine.

I just followed some tutorials online and made a VM. I changed a bunch of drivers to make the VM look like a legit computer. I took my test last week and everything went by fine. But I took a test today and everything was working until I actually clicked "begin test" and then it gave me an error saying It saw me using a VM.

It just closed me out of the test and I had to go on my normal computer to take the test normally. I used my phone, but using a VM definitely looks more legit for the webcam.

Its never done that before and I dont recall updating the browser? It lets me turn on the Respondus program and go through the webcam verification, just when I take the test is notices. Anyone can help a homie out I'd appreciate it.

I used a second laptop and not show more than my forehead after it started. Professor didn't say anything and if he did what was he gonna say? redo it? lmao
