Enhance Game Brightness, Gamma, Contrast with Game Filter (for Nvidia only)

This is a short guide, it doesn't involve any Hacks it's just a cheat. If you didn't already read it in the title, you need a Nvidia graphics card for it.

1. Download "Geforce Experince" (I can't provide any link but it's very popular just google it)
2. After launch go in the settings and enable "IN-GAME OVERLAY", change the language to English so the process will be easier
3. Press Alt+Z on the Desktop to ensure your overlay works
4. Start DBD, in the game you can directly press Alt+F3 to open the game filter, if thats doesn't do anything press Alt+Z and select the game filter in the overlay
5. Now you need to apply those settings, you can play around with em yourself

Add the filter
Details:
Sharpen 25%
Clarity 100%
HDR Toning 39%
Bloom 0%

Color:
Tint Colour 0%
Tint Intensity 0%
Temperatur 0.5
Vibrance 52%

Brightness/ Contrast:
Exposure 0%
Contrast 67%
Highlights -100%

Known errors:
- In some rare occurences the overlay doesn't start properly before the game launches, close the game, press alt+z on the desktop and start the game again

Vibrance 0% (seems too vibrant in the menus but helps to make scratchmarks more visible)

Cheating always means you gain a unfair benefit over other players that don't use it. Since you can see Survivors in dark spots where they should be nearly unvisible you gain benefit. This benefit increases considering that the survivor feels safe in certain spots because their game brightness is much lower. Scratchmarks tracking really benefit sfrom the high vibrance because there is a high contrast between ground and scratchmarks.

Completely agree. That's why high brightness, stretched screen, changed textures settings - all cheats. Because you play the game not how developers intended you to play. Just stray from their rules and you can consider yourself as cheater.

I don't know why you mean it's in "BETA", Nvidia Game Filter also called Freestyle was released officially over a year ago and it was in Beta since the beginning of 2018.
