i am starting to get into bonsai bc i always wanted to grow plant.

I'm not into it, and I don't know much so don't quote me on this but I heard it can be a very ritualistic practice and very calming to upkeep them.

used to? what happened to it and i just bought some seeds so im starting the long way, but i think i should buy a sapling or a 1-2 year old tree and start there and just see how both grow; but thing is, is that if my college reopens i have to fly back to that state and wont be able to take the bonsai with me i dont think

honestly do it dud bc a few years from now it might be sick af to talk about when u have a guest

keep in mind these really take into effect after like 3-5 years which is why i want to start now the really cool ones are probably 10-20 years old

i can barely take care of myself lol, definitely wouldn't be able to take care of a "special plant"

i'm into lake plants so i've been putting natural water in jars sealing them up and putting sea monkeys in them

i have a shit ton of sea monkeys

i would definitely try again then, my social feeds have been alot of people getting into gardening since they have all the time at home now and everytime i go to home depot they're out of house pots n shit
