You can get cheaper with a crappyer motherboard. Can save 10-20 bucks

The SSD can be cheaper, probably can save 10 bucks.

You dont need 3600mhz ram. Just go to 3200mhz ram.

The GPU can be gotten on sale on r/buildapcsales for much cheaper. Or buy used.

The PSU can be cheaper for 10-20 by getting it on sale off r/buildapcsales

1060 instead of 1660? There is no much difference in performance...

PSU - I would highly recommend you to not cheap out on it. I'd go for a Corsair CX (2017) or Corsair CXM. Same ~$75 price range with better voltage control and longevity.

GPU - I would switch it out for a 1660Ti, a couple of bucks more but worth it.

RAM - Go down to a DDR4-3200 G.skill, will cost you half with no noticeable change.

Motherboard - Shift down to ASRock B450M PRO4, will cost you $30 less.

Storage - Switch the Nvme to SSD, probably a 860 EVO or Kingston would be sweet. Less price with no huge difference in things like boot times etc (unless you absolutely need extremely high speeds, but I don't see the point cause it's only a 500gb. 256gb ssd would be a sweet spot)

Personal opinion: Don't buy now. Wait until the new AMD chips and Nvidia cards come out and prices will drop even more. It will even open up a window to snatch a 2060 GPU used or the similar.

You should never use the thermal paste that comes in box. Its serviceable, but youll get better performance if you buy the hgih quality one. I like Thermal Grizzly.
