It's normal for them to call. I even had the UPS guy come to my house for me to sign something. I said I returned the item and he assumed it was lost in transit while it was being returned.
Never got a call again.
I hired a refunder to refund a laptop from Lenovo.com more than a month ago.
UPS surprisingly called me just now and I don't know what excuse my refunder used?
They asked me if the item arrived...I just said something vague and told them that yes it did but there was an issue with the box and that Lenovo was already contacted about this and it should be resolved.
The UPS investigator said that he will update his notes and close the case.
Did I say the wrong thing?

What country? This shouldn't happen in the EU. Pretty sure that's against privacy laws.
what else happened? did you ever get a refund from them? how long did it take to get your refund?
