i dont use a ssd for gaming, too expensive rn. maybe when a 4tb is sub $100. however, i bought a 14 tb for like $230
1 tb is just too small for gaming brah
Really unbelievable (unless it is just me) I only have 9 games on my PC. I have a 1 TB drive for these games and just looked at my drive under my computer and it says 10.2 GB free of 931 GB. Only 9 games! Every time you turn around there is a patch or update of 100 GB, 200 gb if I recall correctly one update was almost 500gb. Do you think sizes of updates are getting out of hand or is it just me?
Meaning maybe I need to get a 2 to 4 Gb drive?. I thought 1 TB would be enough. What size do you use for gaming on PC?
Games I have installed are:
Borderlands 2 & 3, Fallout NV & 4, Metal Gear Solid V, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Far Cry ND, Wolfenstein and just installed Metro Exodus.

BRING BACK BT, BRING BACK SAGA, BRING BACK VF, BRING BACK MPGHCRAFT, BRING BACK HABAMON
honestly 1 tb aint the move anymore, modern warfare itself takes up 20 percent of that.
It's getting out of hands, I have 1TB HDD for my games; STAR WARS Jedi Fallen Order™ / World of Warcraft / Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War / Rocket League / Call of duty Modern warfare.
The next gen game I'm installing its Cyberpunk I have right now 560GB left.

I'd def buy a 3tb ssd tbh.
I have an almost full 1TB SSD with games and music stuff on it. I don't really care that games are getting bigger as long as they're getting better too.

yes, this is crazy. Struggling too
yeah its redonkulus.
Just got a new pc w/ 500gb SSD. Gonna be getting an external HHD either on black friday or boxing day.
It's honestly the companies fault not to optimize the updates, A good example would be GTA. their biggest update was like 7gb and they added 3 months of stuff to the game with that.
best to get just a cheap HDD for games. Currently, I got a 500GB nvme SSD, three 2TB hdd's, and one 1TB HDD installed. The NVME boot operating system stores everything i need, and games that i love, i will store on this. Otherwise I got 3 TB dedicated to games, 3TB for movies and backups.
