Anyone tried refunding with Affirm / Loan payment checkouts?

Affirm basically lets you do loan payments on orders online, so for example;

Your order total is $5000

but you pay
$1,709.44/month (for 3 months)

so with loan payment orders, you could leverage higher cost orders for a smaller price, wondering if anyone has tried

I think people are refunding more with credit cards, where they don't pay anything until their bill is due

really? i thought refunding with credit cards was a bad idea since you get like a $25 returned item fee + credit score goes down doesnt it?

This is not true at all if this was a thing people wouldn’t return items but affirm should work for refunds.

Definitely a store by store basis, but most stores offer free returns, and credit score has nothing to do with returns or not.

This can easily be done without a lot of hard work. Back in the day QVC was possible using their payment plans. Most people would get their orders delivered and then file a DNA claim with QVC for the items and have the first payment refunded. Allowing you to pay 10-25% of the item cost and still keeping the item and getting the first payment refunded back to you. I've done it before, let me know if you need help getting this done bud!
