How to inject a Save Game in the Windows Store version

Here's how to use FluxDot's Save Game injector for the Windows Store version of DBD


This tutorial is for people who already know how to inject a save game and have Fiddler installed.
You simply have to copy and paste a few lines of code into fiddler.
In Fiddler you have to click on FiddlerScript and then Go to OnBeforeRequest.
Then you have to copy and paste these lines:


if (oSession.HostnameIs("steam.live.bhvrdbd.com")) {
oSession.hostname="grdk.live.bhvrdbd.com";
oSession.oRequest["x-kraken-client-platform"] = "grdk";
oSession.oRequest["x-kraken-client-provider"] = "grdk";
}

And press "Save Script"
After you have injected the save game you should remove the code.
That's it.

Since I started using Fiddler on Microsoft Store version of DbD months ago, I have never had a problem with my bhvr session. Just that they published this post recently, and the Devs of DbD have not taken anything in, I think, to patch this.

For the first time I get this error code in Fiddler:

localizationCode=unknown
message=UserId did not logged in with eac
type=Error

Hope someone else can post if you are having trouble as of today using Fiddler with the Microsoft Store Edition of the DbD.

is there a tutorial for the windows version from the start. I am new to DBD stuff and Fiddler. And I don't know where to start and also all the tutorials on YT are Steam only. If anyone could forward me to a thread that teaches I would appreciate that.

I tried to use the steam full profile text but it says "profile successfully uploaded" but nothing changes.

I also tried to remove it but still the same.

What am I missing?

Never mind, it worked. It just took 50 years to take effect.

do you need to use a cookie grabber? when you use it for steam, it exits DBD client.
or do you just open dbd and click import from clipboard like in the vid?

Just import the cookie from fiddler
